Apply for a DCR Urban and Community Forestry Challenge Grant

Each year, the Department of Conservation and Recreation awards matching grants to municipalities and non-profit organizations in Massachusetts to build capacity for the management of the urban and community forest. All units of local government and nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to apply. A variety of projects are eligible, including tree inventories and assessments, management/master plans, funding to support development of a tree nonprofit, staff training, developing a tree bylaw, heritage tree care, tree planting, and more. Intent to Apply due October 1; complete applications due November 1.

May 18th – MTWFA Field Day – Free CEU Event
