Tree Wardens and Arborists Association participate in an annual day of service, donating hundreds of hours worth of tree work to a non-profit recipient. Recent locations have included Highfield Hall in Falmouth and DCR’s Pilgrim Memorial State Park in Plymouth.

2017 Arbor Day of Service – Saturday, April 29, 2017

In the spirit of our forefathers and Plymouth’s upcoming 400th anniversary, the Southeastern Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ and Arborists’ Association, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, will be hosting a tree planting demonstration on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the Forefathers Monument, located on DCR property, 73 Allerton St. Plymouth MA. The planting demonstration will begin at 9:00 AM.

This planting will provide beautification to the grounds of the monument as well as provide an educational opportunity for the community, demonstrating best planting practices including “Right Tree, Right Place” with the planting of six 2.5” caliper balled and burlapped trees donated by Eversource. All are welcome to attend.
