What is an urban or landscape tree worth? Municipalities and property owners are asked this question when accident damages a public tree, or some other incident causes a loss. Mr. Komen will explain the Trunk Formula tree appraisal method, one of several methods used in calculating a replacement value. This method is detailed in the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers Guide for Plant Appraisal, and is accepted in many damage claims.
