SEMTWAA Annual Volunteer Day of Service

Loading Events

Arborists from the Southeastern Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ and Arborists’ Association (SEMTWAA) will once again participate in the organization’s annual service day, this year at New Bedford’s Buttonwood Park Zoo.  Arborist volunteers will provide tree services including large tree pruning, tree removals, stump grinding, and tree planting. Tree planting will be centered around the Holocaust Memorial, with plant materials donated by NSTAR. More than 25 members and businesses from SEMTWAA will donate more than $15,000 worth of labor and equipment to the project. Coffee and donuts will start the day, and lunch for volunteers will be provided by The Friends of Buttonwood Park.
