A module describes the other modules and how they are designed to enhance the elect
to complete a set number of modules will receive a certificate detailing their elect to

The certificate is designed to distinguish the participant as trained and knowledgeable in
municipal tree management.
Beginning in 2003, the Massachusetts Tree Wardens and Foresters
Association has cooperated with the USDA Forest Service and the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst to sponsor fourteen workshops in
the Professional Development Series (PDS). The MTWFA will continue to
offer new training opportunities to support Tree Wardens across the
Commonwealth.
